Page ContentHis Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and His Excellency Mr Sergey Kozlov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, discussed the preparations for the seventh Joint Ministerial Meeting of the Strategic Dialogue among Their Highnesses and Excellencies, the Foreign Ministers of the GCC and the Russian Federation, scheduled to take place on Monday, September 9, 2024, at the General Secretariat in Riyadh.This discussion took place during His Excellency's reception of His Excellency the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the General Secretariat in Riyadh. His Excellency the GCC Secretary General stressed that the seventh Joint Ministerial Meeting of the Strategic Dialogue between the GCC and the Russian Federation reflects both sides' desire and commitment to the importance of continuous coordination and consultation to enhance GCC-Russian relations in a way that achieves the desired objectives. He also noted that the agenda for the meeting would include several topics related to the development of cooperation between the two sides in areas of mutual interest.Additionally, he stated that the meeting would address and review key issues on the regional and international fronts and exchange viewpoints regarding them.
