  HE the GCCSG: The 158th Preparatory Ministerial Meeting for the 44th Session of the Supreme Council of the GCC will be Held Tomorrow in Doha in the Presence of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Foreign Ministers of the GCC

His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), stated that the 158th Ministerial Meeting of the GCC will be held tomorrow, Sunday, December 3, 2023, to prepare for the 44th session of the Supreme Council of the GCC in the Qatari capital, Doha. 

The meeting will be chaired by His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, who is also the current President of the Ministerial Council, and will be attended by Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Foreign Ministers of the GCC countries.

On this occasion, His Excellency the Secretary General of the GCC affirmed that the convening of the 158th preparatory ministerial meeting is a continuation of the preparations currently underway for the launch of the 44th session of the Supreme Council of the GCC, scheduled to be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in the presence of Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC countries.

Moreover, His Excellency the Secretary General clarified that during the ministerial meeting of the GCC, several reports will be discussed regarding the implementation of decisions issued by the Supreme Council of the GCC at the 43rd summit in Riyadh, as well as the memoranda and reports submitted by the ministerial and technical committees as well as the General Secretariat. 

The meeting will also cover topics related to dialogues and strategic relations between the GCC countries and international countries and blocs, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.
