  GCC Secretary General Stresses Importance of Strengthening all Ties Between the Cooperation Council and the People's Republic of China

​His Excellency Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) stressed the importance of strengthening all ties between the Cooperation Council and the People's Republic of China, in a way that contributes to serving common interests.


His Excellency's remarks came during his meeting with His Excellency Mr. Hu Chunhua, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, today, Saturday (June 10, 2023) at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh.

During the meeting, several issues were discussed, including bolstering the existing strategic partnership between the GCC and China, and pushing it towards new horizons in various political, economic, artistic and cultural fields. Moreover, they exchanged views on the most important issues of shared interest.

They also discussed the GCC-Chinese ties, and ways to develop and elevate them in all fields, especially in the political area in order to serve joint interests.
