The initiative launched by HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and adopted by the United Nations as an International Day.The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council pointed out that this global initiative registered for the Kingdom of Bahrain, and is an international achievement added to the achievements of the GCC States in the framework of their efforts to support and strengthen the humanitarian field. As well as their efforts in promoting coexistence, tolerance and peace between peoples, indicating that these recent initiatives are keen to strengthen the bond of human connection between Governments and people, and bring the world together on the foundations of good for all humanity, through the values of justice and equality.The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council stressed the importance of these humanitarian initiatives. Especially in light of the circumstances the world is currently undergoing, in response to the crisis of the Corona epidemic, and how this challenge demonstrated that the common human fate and the work for it needs lofty and sublime initiatives, just as the International Day of Conscience initiative. The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council concluded his statement by emphasizing that the initiative of the Kingdom of Bahrain interpret the human values enshrined in the project of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
