The meeting was chaired by, Mr. Khalifa bin Ali al-Siyabi, Director General of the Omani Customs, and Chairman of the current session of the GCC Customs Union, with the participation of their Excellencies, Members of the GCC Customs Union, and Mr. Khalifa said Al-Abri, the Assistant Secretary General for Economic and Development Affairs. During the meeting they discussed a number of related issues, most notably: the GCC Supreme Council decision at the 17th Consultation Meeting regarding the completion of the Customs Union and truck transportation requirements between Member States, the progress made in regards to the development of a mechanism for the conversion of customs duties between the GCC customs administrations, and the results of the committee charged with reviewing the GCC unified customs law meetings, as well as the ongoing cooperation between the GCC Secretariat and the World Customs Organization. × Send To Friend Required Field Email not correct Required Field Email not correct Required Field
