  Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council condemns the Christchurch Mosque Shootings

The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani, strongly condemned the mass shooting at two mosques in the New Zealand city of Christchurch, which resulted in the killing and wounding a large number of innocent civilians; describing it as an act of terrorism, incompatible with all human and moral values and principles.
The Secretary-General expressed his solidarity with the Government in all its actions to preserve the security and safety of the citizens and residents of New Zealand, which is defined as a country of peace, security and coexistence. He also expressed his deep condolences to the Government of New Zealand, the families and victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
