Page Content The Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Negotiations, Dr. Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Owaishek, met on Monday, 4 February 2019, at the GCC headquarters, Mr. Federico Franceschini, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting they discussed means of cooperation between the two sides; and activate the existing agreements between the GCC and the Mercosur Group, chaired by the Argentine Republic this going year 2019, where they already signed the Framework Agreement of the GCC- MERCOSUR Economic Cooperation in 2005, in Brasilia, Brazil. They also discussed the GCC- MERCOSUR Free trade negotiations, and the draft of a memorandum of understanding between the GCC and the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
