  Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council attends part of the "Recording Deliberations and Taking Minutes" Course

The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, attended on Monday, 4 February 2019, at the GCC headquarters, the "recording deliberations and taking minutes" Course, organized by the GCC Secretariat, for a number of employees from various sectors and departments.

Mr. Abdullah Al-Rubai briefed HE the Secretary-General on how the training process was carried out, and the extent to which trainees have benefited from developing their skills in this field.

The Secretary General praised the efforts exerted by the GCC Training Committee and the Training Department to organize specialized courses that develop and improve the GCC capabilities in various fields.

He said that "recording deliberations and taking minutes" is one of the GCC essential tasks, to keep up with the ministerial committees, specialized technical committees and other important meetings that take place within the framework of the joint GCC work. He stressed the importance of making sure that it inclusively reflects the meeting, and clearly and accurately documents the recommendations that have been agreed upon.
