  The GCCPOL Launches the First Phase of the GCC First Joint Operation to Combat Crimes

GCC- Abu Dhabi

The GCCPOL launched the GCC First Joint Operation to Combat Crimes, organized to be held from 17 to 20 February 2019, in Abu Dhabi; with the participation of representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and State of Kuwait. This aims to achieve the GCCPOL strategic objectives of strengthening the security cooperation among the GCC police forces in the field of combating crime.
This phase comes as a continuation to the preliminary phase that started last November, where the participating States delegations held a workshop to identify the most common crimes.
The launch was attended by, Brig. Gen. Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director-General of the Federal Criminal Police at the UAE Ministry of Interior, as well as a number of officers in the field of crime control from the United Arab Emirates, , Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and State of Kuwait.
