The GCC represented by the General Directorate of Information and Strategic Communications, participated in the Meeting of the Arab E-Media Committee, held during the period from 29 April to 1 May 2019 , in Dubai. The Meeting was organized by the League of Arab States in cooperation with the Union of Arab producers. 

The meeting discussed a number of recommendations resulted  of the panel discussion held on the margins of the meeting on "the danger of Video Games that calls for violence and terrorism and its impact on the security of Arab society", the recommendations of the Technical Committee of studying the proposal submitted by the Arab League Satellite Broadcasting Authority on the enrichment of content on the Internet and the digital platform, follow-up the implementation of the 8th recommendation of the 10th regular session of the Arab E-Media Committee, and  a number of reports on developing the Committee's website.
