The Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs, HE Mr. Khalifa said Al-Abri, participated in a panel discussion on counterfeit certificates and ways to combat it, organized by the Gulf Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, on Wednesday 12 December 2018, in Muscat, Oman.
During the meeting, they were given a presentation on the GNQAHE office, followed by a speech by HE Dr. Khamis Saleh Al Balushi, Director General of the Gulf Network for Quality Assurance of Higher Education.
They also reviewed the experiences regarding counterfeit certificates of the UAE, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait, and discussed the panel's recommendations.
On behalf of the GCC attended, Dr. Hanadi Abdullah Al-Masn, Advisor and Representative of the Human and Environmental Affairs Sector, Department of Education.
Under the patronage of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Mohammed Al-Hassan, a dinner was held attended by a number of Ambassadors and media.
