The GCC Heads of the Capital Market Authorities (or their equivalent) Committee, which emanated from the Ministerial Committee for Capital Markets, held on Wednesday, 24 October 2018, the 17th meeting in Kuwait.

During The meeting they discussed a number of important issues including; the integration of Capital markets, and the strategy and mechanisms needed to achieve it. And the latest developments regarding the memorandum of understanding between the GCC Capital market regulators.

The meeting also discussed the Secretariat memorandum on the joint meeting between the Committee of Governors of Monetary Institutions and Central Banks and the Ministerial Committee for Capital Markets. And the agenda of the second meeting between the Heads of Capital Market Authorities (or their equivalent) Committee, and the heads of GCC stock markets.

The Secretariat delegation was led by, HE Mr.　Khalifa bin Said Al-Abri, The Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs.
