The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani, attended on Tuesday, 16th, October, 2018, at the GCC headquarters, in Riyadh, the event  (the Secretariat is our future and our future is our mission)  organized by the committee of improving  and developing  performances, led by HE Abdulaziz Al-Nasser, the GCC Director General for Information and Strategic Planning.

The Secretary-General listened to the committee brief him on the event segments, objectives of the event, which was to identify the new ideas and visions that contribute to improve and develop the Secretariat performance, both technically and administratively, by its employees .

The members of the committee briefed HE the- Secretary General on the main themes of the event which aim at reaching an ambitious vision that is clear and applicable by 2030-2020, that includes; Ways to empower the employees and raise their practical efficiency by training and development. And enhancing the values ​​of loyalty and belonging to the Secretariat and contributing to the creation of an appropriate working environment.

The Secretary-General asked the committee and its leader to study them thoroughly to identify the possibility of applying them to serve the development and improvement of performance in the Secretariat. He also praised the efforts of the committee and its leader to achieve their objectives, and for the well prepped and organized event.
